Profile: Abresist Corporation provides abrasion and impact protection. We offer annealing, which gives the cast basalt a uniform, fine crystalline structure and makes it a smooth, hard and highly abrasion-resistant material. They are ideal for lining components susceptible to severe abrasion in plant material handling and processing operations. Abresist is basalt based wear protection for plant components where the material to be conveyed predominantly causes friction-induced abrasion, in bunkers, troughs, chutes, chain conveyors, mixers, separators, pipes, pipe bends and cyclones. The linings are highly resistant to the abrasive effects of bulk materials.
