Profile: AirTrim, Inc. designs and fabricates pneumatic conveying systems. These systems use air to move or transport the product or waste component from a source to a desired receptacle. Our conveying package is a portable system for conveying material away from its source to a receiver, usually within 30 feet. It handles material up to 2½" wide per side and at speeds up to 4000 fpm. The basic package includes a blower, inducer, intakes, and duct. We offer optional equipments that include silencers, fabric separators, and dump carts. Our blower system conveys material through the system in a form that is relatively unchanged to the receiver. The material enters the intake, passes through an inducer, and arrives at the receiver. Matrix Twister™ matrix removal system is a comprehensive system designed specifically to pneumatically convey PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) waste matrix and edge trim from a label press or die cutter to a compactor, baler, or dumpster. It twists the matrix into a roped form for ease of conveying, reducing the amount of exposed adhesive by collapsing it onto itself. The more aggressive the adhesive, the better it sticks to itself and the easier it is to convey. A fine, food-grade silicone mist, introduced into the inlet of the system, ensures system performance. Our air separators & cyclones are sized, custom designed, and fabricated for each specific application. The form or shape of the unit depends upon the type & volume of material being conveyed, available space, and the air velocity at which it is being conveyed.
