Our water soluble thermoplastic adhesive is designed for temporary mounting of hard materials for slicing, dicing, grinding, lapping and polishing & works well as a chemical etch barrier. It comes in 3 different bonding temperatures that can be purchased in stick/bulk form. All products are virtually insoluble in cold/cool water, thus providing a strong bond in the presence of aqueous cutting lubricants and coolants. The use of Aquaclean 900™ greatly speeds debonding and aids in producing very clean finished parts. Our Aquabond 55™ has the lowest melting & bonding temperature and is generally used for lapping, back grinding, wafer bonding & wafer thinning. It puddles quickly and can spread as thin as four microns. Our Aquaclean 500™ detergent is a concentrated powder-form non-foaming detergent that cleans most materials. It is easy to dissolve and dye free & leaves no environmental residue. These are ideal for surface preparation and formulated for parts & pressure washers.
