Automatic TIG head is specifically designed for tube to tubesheet welding applications. It can be used for high production environments where a fusion weld is suitable. The weld head clamps directly to the tube to be welded via an expanding mandrel, which is operated by a simple mechanical clamping system. As the clamping mechanism clamps directly inside the tube being welded the head is automatically aligned concentrically.
