Batch Controllers is a module of the control system which is used for controlling discontinuous or nonstandard process. It contains the hardware necessary to receive analogue, digital and counteer inputs from field devices. It has the capability of handling up to 32 analogue inputs, 72 analogue outputs, 256 digital inputs, 128 digital outputs, and 64 counter inputs. It contains PROM resident diagnostic programs.
