Safety clamp is a mechanical device attached to tool strings or flush surface tubulars as they are assembled or disassembled. It prevents the tool string from being dropped downhole accidentally if the slips or elevators securing the string lose their grip.

Safety Couplings provide jam-free accuracy for inserting, stacking, bundling and storage/retrieval operations. These are designed with Belleville spring and disengage in 2 to 4 ms in jam situations. Safety coupling prevent expensive damage that often results when a collision occurs in a high-performance servo drive system.
