Corrosion Resistant Cement

Description: Corrosion Resistant Cement is versatile cement in the entire range, which not only withstands non-oxidizing acids, solvents, salts & grease but also alkalies and detergents at temperatures up to 170°C. This cement made it possible to use a single cement to lend greater versatility to the design processing equipment and structures providing protection against future changes in processing as well as errors in existing operation. This cement also withstands alternating acid and alkali condition. Chemical resistance includes: practically all non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, salts, solvents, greases and detergents-not recommended for strong oxidizing acids such as nitric acid. Gayfur mortar is prepared by combining one part of syrup and three parts of powder to form workable mixture. It is buttered on acid-proof brick/tiles/red mandana stone using normal bricklayer's method. Gayfur powder and liquid should be stored in a dry place until ready for use. Powder is available in 50 kg plastic lined gunny bags and liquid in 25/200 kg MS drums.
