DVA well system is a combination of surface and subsea technology. It consists of floating platform, subsea wellhead at mudline, top tensioned riser, dry surface x-mas tree system and short flexible flow lines & umbilicals. Floating platform is a deepwater alternative to a fixed platform. Subsea wellhead at mudline wells either predrilled or drilled from floating platform. Top tensioned riser system that extends from the subsea wellhead up to a tensioning system at the surface.
