Dielectric Fittings Manufacturers
Dielectric Fitting is a substance that is highly resistant to electric current. When a dielectric medium interacts with an applied electric field, charges are redistributed within its atoms or molecules. This redistribution can alter the shape of an applied electrical field both inside the dielectric medium and in the region nearby. This dielectric fitting is highly useful in piping system because it can prevent galvanic activity, which is a serious threat to any piping system. Dielectric fittings are used to isolate monitoring and control instruments and equipment from electrical current and voltages and it is also used to prevent current flow resulting from impressed current cathodic protection systems, static electricity or even lightning strikes, from reaching sensitive monitoring station equipment.
