Double Corrugated Gaskets Manufacturers

Double corrugated gaskets are mainly used in heat exchanger applications. The corrugations on the gasket provide an additional labyrinth seal. It also provides the advantage of reducing the contact area of the gasket, enhancing its compressive characteristics. These are sometimes used with a very-light coating of gasket cement or lubricant, which assists in flowing the metal portion of the gasket into the tool marks on the flange seating surface.
