Drum Rollers Manufacturers
Drum Rollers are up to 15t weight and are usually smooth faced. They are cleated or ribbed for breaking down weak rock fragments. Vibration frequencies range from 8 to 85Hz. Low frequencies and high amplitudes are most satisfactory for thick fill layers and cohesive soils, while the opposite is true for thin lifts, granular materials and asphalt courses. Non vibratory drum rollers are mainly used for surface finishes. It allows for readily available compaction in such soils as gumbo, blow sand and other soils with very high proctors or water content.
