Dust Collectors, Dry Type

Description: Dust Collectors, Dry Type includes cyclone, fabric collector (bag) filters and scrubbers. Cyclones are commonly used in removal of coarse dust from air or gas stream and often used as a pre-collector. They are not suitable for fine dust particles. Cyclones can be offered in multistage for better efficiency. Efficiency is as high as 90%, down to 20 microns can be achieved. It can be constructed in steel, aluminum or stainless steel. It works similar to that of the cyclone unit and can be constructed of steel or cast iron. They are used for coarse dust and efficiency is up to 89% down to 5 microns. The outer house is constructed out of metal sheet. Hopper with rotary air lock valve is provided. Considering the type of dust, gas and temperature, the fabric is selected. It offers fabric filters of polyester, polypropylene, Ryton and Nomax. Fabric filters can be offered in the following types: open bags, mechanical or manual shaking and pulse jet bag filter. Bag filters are designed for trouble free operation and the efficiency is as high as 99.8% down to 5 microns. The back house is fabricated out of steel. Hopper, screw conveyor (optional) and rotary air lock valves are also offered. Air pollution control equipments remove contaminants from the air/gas stream.
