NEMA enclosures provide a wide range of modifications and sizes. EPI NEMA type 1 enclosures are designed for use as junction and pull boxes. These enclosures are used in areas which do not require protection against falling rain, snow, and sleet. EPI NEMA type 4 enclosures are designed to house electrical controls, terminals, and instruments in areas which are regularly hosed down, or are very wet environments.
