Evaporative Condensers Manufacturers

Evaporative Condensers combine a water-cooled condenser and cooling tower in one piece of equipment. It eliminates the sensible heat transfer step of the condenser water, permitting a condensing temperature within 15F of the design wet bulb, resulting in compressor horsepower savings of 10% or more over water-cooled condenser/cooling tower systems and more than 30% over air-cooled systems. Design conditions with evaporative condensers are usually 90F to 95F saturated condensing temperature with an ambient wet bulb temperature of 72 to 78F. The evaporative condenser combines the cooling tower, condenser surface, water circulating pump and water piping in one assembled unit, thereby eliminating the cost of shipping, handling and installing separate components. Evaporative condensers are apparently water-cooled designs and work on the principle of cooling by evaporating water into a moving air stream. Evaporative condensers use water sprays and air flow to condense refrigerant vapors inside the tubes.
