Profile: Fusion Systems Group specializes in manufacturing industrial automation equipments. Our 4-component ball plunger assembly machine automatically loads four components and assembles them into the final product. Integrated checking of final assembly with automatic sorting during unloading is one of many key features of this assembly machine. This system includes five bowl feeders for automatic loading of all components and handling a wide range of ball plunger sizes. We also offer various custom machines. Our handle placing material handling machine is designed and built to accurately load handles onto cans prior to a soldering operation. The handles are loaded into an elevating hopper which feeds a vibratory bowl feeder. The bowl feeder orients the handles and feeds them onto a feed conveyor. Seven handles are staged and accurately placed at one time onto seven cans via a pick & place gantry. The cans are automatically shuttled in and out of the machine in 7-can groups. The machine is designed to accept three different can heights. Our lamination stacking machine is a four station rotary index material handling machine that accepts conveyed press stampings onto a stack. This machine automatically indexes when the stack is full without stopping the press. The 12" high stacks are automatically unloaded onto a flat chain takeaway conveyor with a custom designed pick & place transfer. Quick changeover of stack tooling is achieved with our quick release clamp down design. The machine accepts multiple configurations of laminates and can be easily configured for future part styles. Our experience and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) enables us to design & manufacture many types of production fixtures & gauges. We use 3D design tools coupled with CMM measurement equipment to ensure our production fixtures and production gauges meet the needs & expectations.
