The Geospect ML-08 IR combines the power of the Geospect mudlogging system with the infrared gas detection system. The infrared detector is tuned to detect hydrocarbons methane through N-butane with precision and accuracy. The ML-08 IR detects small traces of hydrocarbons and continues to detect up to 100% gas in the air without saturating. Our ML-08CC uses a Wheatstone bridge to detect gas by Catalytic Combustion (CC).
