Heat Shrink Sleeves Manufacturers

Heat Shrink Sleeves are manufactured from radiation-crosslinked polyethylene tape, provided with a self-priming thixotropic sealant. The total thickness is 1.5 – 2.5 mm, with a backing tape of 0.6 – 1.0 mm. Heat shrink sleeves provide a safe and efficient method for protecting fusion splices on either 250 or 900 micron coated fibers. Heat shrink sleeves are threaded on to fibers prior to fusion splicing and then positioned directly over splice & heated via an oven or heat gun. Heat shrink sleeves are labels that are applied to a container and shrunk to fit the contours of the container through the addition of heat.
