In general, a reaction vessel may be described as a vessel or capsule within which there is positioned a given material to be subjected to high pressure/high temperature conditions for research or for manufacture of materials. High pressure reaction vessels are constructed of stainless steel and have removable liners. A complete system includes a heating mantle with thermocouple, a stirring assembly and a controller.
