Profile: Incom, Inc. is the supplier of rigid fused fibreoptic product for commercial application. We serve medical, scientific, national defense and genetic research applications. Our customers are the manufacturers of instruments and systems using fused fiber optics. We have faceplates and tapers ranging from 2mm to 200mm in diameter and using 25 material combinations. We offer product development services, product consignments, and just-in-time delivery. A faceplate is the optical equivalent of a zero thickness window providing a high dielectric strength vacuum interface that can be used for field-flattening, distortion correction and contrast enhancement. Faceplates are available in round, square, concave or convex surfaces and are used for cathode-ray tubes, image intensifiers, CCD/CMOS windows and X-ray blocking applications. We also produce FiberOptical™ Microwell Arrays, LightTips and Microcapillary Array Plates.
