Profile: Innovative Test Systems, Inc. provides custom automated ultrasonic inspection systems. We have designed and delivered non-destructive testing systems. Our systems are engineered with the operations and maintenance personnel in mind. Our systems are easy to operate, calibrate, and maintain. They are also engineered to be rugged and reliable. Our product line includes portable scanners, ERW pipe scanning systems, flat plate scanners, immersion tank systems and rail inspection system. We design and deliver portable scanner to a major repair shop for gas and steam turbines. The system is tripod mounted. The scanner easily folds up and detaches from the tripod for easy storage or shipment on airplanes to remote sites. Our ERW weld line scanners are modular in design. They can be configured to operate either online or offline, used on centerline or bottom-line mills, and with or without weld seam following. The system is designed to be used with different types of ultrasonic transducers including conventional, involute and phased array as well as eddy current probes.
