Profile: MPI manufactures pultrusion machines, panel machines, transfer molding equipment and filament winding machinery. We design, engineer and manufacture machinery for pultrusion process operations. Our machines are designed to meet the most demanding manufacturing requirements. Extremely fine detail of small delicate parts and complex profiles of large structural components can be produced to exacting precision. Profile envelope size and pull & clamp capacities are available to fill any requirement. Our pultrusion machines use programmable controllers, power units, pumps, valves and manufacturing technology. We take every care to maximize equipment operating efficiency and minimize downtime. Our machine frames are constructed of heavy-duty steel to provide a stable processing platform. A strong frame enables processing very dense composites which have a high fiber-to-resin composition. We also offer custom equipment for offline production of composite pultrusions. We offer notchers, gang drills, and even machining equipment for door fabrication. We have also developed a user-friendly broad goods slitter. The design starts with a built in hoist for ease of loading the full roll with one man. The built in jib crane handles a full length and diameter roll of material & with the easy design of our slitter allows the end user to slide the heavy roll onto the machine. The machine also features multiple mandrel sizes and expanding cores for the multitude of cores available in the industry. The slitter also features digital readout for cut lengths, shrink wrap stations for cut rolls, 100 foot blade canister and the latest in blade technology.
