Machinable Collets Manufacturers
Machinable Collets can be used with or without a lathe collet closing system and are said to be ideal for turning delicate parts even on larger machines. A knurled nut closes the collet by way of an internal taper which engages a matched taper on the body of the tool. Collets are available in steel or aluminum with various machinable ranges.
