Magnetic Chucks Manufacturers

Magnetic Chucks are used extensively on surface grinding machines because they provide a convenient and accurate method of holding steel and cast-iron parts. The advantage of the magnetic chuck is the speed of loading and unloading the workpieces. The two basic types of magnetic chucks are the permanent magnet chunk and the electromagnet chuck. Magnetic chucks provide an excellent means of holding work when the cutting forces are not too high. Magnetic chucks operate by means of a DC electricity supply. Magnetic chucks are used on planers and grinders to avoid the use of clamps.
