Mist Eliminators Manufacturers

Mist eliminators are also called entrainment separators and demisters. It serves to remove 99 to 99.9 % of liquid droplets from the scrubber exit stream. They employ inertial impaction, centrifugal force, and even diffusion and interception capture mechanisms. Most mist eliminators are of either baffle or mesh design and employ either horizontal or vertical gas flow. The baffle-type may be either zigzag or slanted in design. The mesh-type eliminators are used for vertical gas flow when no sticky particles are present that might plug the mesh. The mesh pads are from 4 to 12 inches thick and may be installed 0 to 45 degrees from the horizontal.
