We repair large AC, DC, synchronous motors, adjustable speed drives, generators, and hydro generators. These services are available at site as well as in our facilities. Our customer base includes automotive, steel & other heavy industry, refineries, government facilities & public utilities, and newer co-generation sources. Our capability includes a 70-ton crane tandem & corresponding capacities in bakeout ovens, lathes, VPI tank, and test equipment. Our range encompasses AC apparatus up to 22,500hp & up to 13,800 volts, and DC apparatus up to 5,000hp & up to 700 volts. We offer single source solutions to upgrade hydro generators. In many cases, generator capacity can be increased by as much as 50% when combined with turbine upgrades. We are capable of complete rewind, repair, or upgrading of generators, especially in high voltage applications. Our on-site services include rewind, repair, balancing, alignment, undercutting, and cryogenesis cleaning of apparatus. On-site technical evaluation, including vibration spectrum analysis, accurately pinpoints problems, and facilitates accurate repair estimates & schedules.
