Profile: National Conductor Constructors specializes in the construction of high-voltage switchyards, substations, and related equipment at voltages from 69kV to 500 kV. Var reactors are used in conjunction with fixed or mechanically switched shunt capacitors to reduce voltage and current distribution on transmission lines. The complete compensation system is referred to as a static var compensator. We have built high voltage direct current stations.
