Profile: PMS Instrument Company provides pressure chamber instruments for measuring plant water potential and irrigation scheduling. Our product includes pump-up chamber, instrument mounted eye lens, lighted hand lens, portable tank, compression gland gaskets, insertion tools and specialty chambers. Our pump-up pressure chamber is different from the conventional gas chamber. This instrument is limited to 20 bar and is designed primarily for irrigation scheduling/monitoring, particularly for managing deficit irrigation and for teaching students basic plant water relations. Our lighted hand lens is an illuminated lens that allows for close magnification as well as lights the sample at the same time. It operates with two AA batteries. Our portable tank is a required accessory for the all gas operated instruments. This tank is a 22 cubic foot aluminum tank which comes with a handle for easy transport and a nurse tank adapter.
