Power-Off Brakes Manufacturers

Power-Off Brake provides static holding in absence of power. It is used on the backs of motors to hold machines, pulleys, Z-axes and robotic arms. It has preset air-gap with laser cut shim for field installation. Brakes with side-fit spline hubs maintain clearances to minimize backlash. It provides static engagement with torque from 12.5-470 lb-in. while field assembly is fixed and prevented from rotating. In absence of power, fixed and rotating components are engaged which stops and/or holds load.
