Primo Automation Systems Private Limited is engaged in the field of Welding Automation. We manufacture a wide range of automated welding solutions for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Plasma Tungsten Arc Welding (PTAW), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes. Our LPG Cylinder Welding System provides economic returns for the LPG industry. It is also available Linear Welding System for the LPG industry, V.P.Ring assembly/welding system and V.P.Ring to dish welding system. Our Programmable Torch positioning Systems are Designed for automatic Torch positioning / manipulation in multi layer welding by MIG/SAW. Our Valve Discs and Seat Rings (R-CO-CR-A) Hardfacing (PTAW) Machine are Designed for doing Hardfacing of Cobalt / Nickel based alloys on carbon steels base using Plasma Tungsten Arc Welding (PTAW) process welding. Our Valve Body to Seat Ring Seal (MIG) Welding Machine is designed to weld seat rings to valve body for gate, globe and check valves.

Board: P.Rajagopalan and C.Balasubramanian, Founding Directors of Primo and T.N. Srinivasamoorthy, Director who became part of Primo in 2001, form the Board of Directors of Primo. The three dynamic and experienced engineering professionals are Primo's main asset. Between them they have more than three decades of work experience in reputed Multi national companies with vast experience in the fields of Welding, Metallurgy, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. Rajagopalan is an Electronics Engineer, Balabsubramanian a Metallurgist and Srinivasamoorthy is a Mechanical Engineer. These professionals have brought in a high degree of professionalism and knowledge expertise into Primo. We specialize in manufacturing and exporting of tube to tube welding system, which consists of:

  • Bed Frame Unit: Fabricated and stress relieved and machined bed.
  • Head Stock Unit: Two Headstock with Spindle assemblies.
  • Inert Gas Shielding Chamber: Inert gas (Argon) shielding chamber.
  • Adjustable Tube Support: Height Adjustable Tubes Supports - 4 Nos. (2 on either side of the machine).
  • Welding Head Comprising:

Axles Ring & Cover Robo Welding System:
We have designed axle ring & cover robo welding system to be used in valve industry, which consists of
  • Torch 1: 3 sets of manual adjustment slides for bottom ring tack weld torches.
  • Torch 2: 3 nos. of mig welding torches for bottom tack welding.
  • Drive: 2 axes servo controlled positioners with motorized rotation and motorized tilting with backlash free imported gear drives.
