Proximity Switches Manufacturers

Proximity switches are non contact-type switches that are used to sense the presence or absence of an object without actually contacting the object. Proximity switches combine high-speed switching with small physical size. In a proximity switch mode, a field amplitude threshold is set, below which a solid state switch changes the signal output from high to low or vice versa. In this manner, a digital signal is produced, which indicates whether a metal object has approached closer than a prescribed value.
