Rigging screws are also known as turnbuckles or bottlescrews. These are used to set-up or adjust for length or tension, any rigging equipment. There are two types of rigging screws such as a screw fitting into an internally threaded sleeve, with a swivel eye at the head of the screw and a standing eye on the sleeve. The second type is a similar assembly but with the standing eye incorporating a slip.
