Profile: Rod and Tubing Services is a full service sucker rod and tubing reclamation facility. We also provide tubing scan service. We recondition sucker rods and couplings. We use a proven process to clean and inspect all equipment before returning it back to the customers. We inspect rods using eddy current for determining the hardness variation. We also use electro-magnetic induction and laser technology for the inspection of the rods. Rod pin ends and upset areas are inspected using wet magnetic particle. Shoulder seating faces are checked for parallelism using product gauges. Rods are graded and color-coded as per API standards. We clean rods and couplings in vats using heated solvents. Our in-field tubing inspection service allows us to determine the quality of the tubing and service induced defects as it is being pulled from the well bore. This process is accomplished by utilizing above the floor sensor head design that allows for quick, easy installation while providing accurate and reliable data. Our inspection service has proven itself as a viable method of inspection for many years. We maintain six tubing inspection service units. Each unit utilizes OEM’s ARTIS-3 well head inspection system. Our EMI inspections include transverse & longitudinal inspection, wall measurement, eddy current grade uniformity and demagnetism. We inspect pipes as per API/customer specifications.
