Sodium Vapor Lamps Manufacturers
A sodium vapor lamp is a gas release light, which uses sodium in an excited state to produce light. There are two types of sodium vapor lamps such as low pressure and high pressure. Low pressure sodium vapor lamp consists of an outer vacuum envelope of glass coated with an infrared reflecting layer of indium tin oxide, a semiconductor material that allows the visible light wavelengths out and keeps the infrared (heat) back. High pressure sodium vapor lamp is smaller and contains some other elements, producing a dark pink glow when first struck, and a pinkish orange light when warmed up.
