Profile: Tec Hoist, LLC is a distributor of construction hoists, rack & pinion special purpose elevators and mast climbing work platforms. We employ a wide range of hoists, from equipment well suited for low rise residential projects to special high speed and large capacity lifts with extended cages for unusually long payload requirements for high profile buildings projects. We have a complete line of rack and pinion special purpose industrial elevators specially suitable for harsh outdoor environments. The rack & pinion design allows for a simplified installation and the elimination of an enclosed hoist way. Typical installations include power generating facilities, grain elevators, cement plants, refineries, coal handling centers, underground tunneling projects, and off shore applications. We also have compact elevators for confined spaces as well as large units for large volumes of material and passenger movement. We operate a modern fleet of single and dual cage rack & pinion construction hoists with capacities of 6000/7000 lbs. The cage speeds vary from 130 FPM to 300 FPM. We provide permanent elevators with special automatic control features and custom installation configurations for numerous applications. Our experience allows us to fulfill the needs for special engineering required to solve complicated site conditions, including the fabrication of runways and platforms for building setbacks & special extended tie-ins & complicated attachment situations. We provide a full engineering package including a basic equipment layout, tie-in attachment details and base concrete pad design.
