Profile: Uhl Technologies is a manufacturer of diamond impregnated lapping plates designed to be quicker, cleaner, easier, and more precise than conventional lapping methods. We offer five standard mesh sizes to be impregnated into the surface of the lapping plate. Our products include standard flat lapping plates, hones, cleaning stones, lapping fluid and disposable wipes. Our diamond laps produce a flatness to within one light band on a 1.5" diameter disc and surface finishes to within one micro inch. The flatness of our lapping plate is transferred to the work piece and it requires only a little experience to use it.
