Profile: Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation (CW-EMD) is a supplier of critical function electro-mechanical products. We built critical function pumps for the nuclear powered submarine. We expanded our product offering to include both subsea pumping and hazardous waste pumping systems. Our integrated motor propulsor system integrates a number of advanced technologies, a unique canned induction motor, material selection and deployment flexibility. We produce boiler circulation pumps and motors, reactor coolant pumps and motors, control rod drive mechanisms and primary loop valves that operate in commercial utility power plants.
