Disc Cone Clutche uses two conical surfaces to transmit friction and torque. The cone clutch transfers a higher torque than plate or disk clutches. These are used in low peripheral speed applications. Small cone clutches are used in synchronizer mechanisms in manual transmissions. The cone engages a cup on the pilot plate for immediate, positive engagement with no slippage. The heat dissipating finned plate, which gives it almost 10 times the heat dissipating capacity of the 1300 series model.

The disc filters are generally used in heavy duty applications such as the dewatering of iron ore taconite, hematite, coal, aluminum hydrate, copper concentrate, pyrite flotation concentrates and other beneficiation processes. These are ideal in removing both particulates, like sand, and organic matter. It consists of a stack round, grooved discs. Each disc has grooves on both sides.
