Piston check valve is a lift check valve with a dashpot consisting of a piston and cylinder that provides a cushioning effect during operation. The flow characteristics through a piston check valve are essentially the same as through a lift check valve. This valve is used primarily in conjunction with globe and angle valves in piping systems experiencing very frequent changes in flow direction. Valves of this type are used on water, steam and air systems.

Piston Fillers are more sophisticated volumetric fillers and are designed for the most exacting packaging applications. Piston fillers are either straight line or rotary. Piston fillers are used with full open top containers. Piston fillers are extremely accurate and reliable. Piston fillers operate by inserting a piston into a product reservoir containing a quantity of liquid greater than the capacity of the container. These piston fillers are ideal for filling pastes, creams, lotions and gels. Piston fillers allow the operator infinite volume adjustment to achieve exact weights.
