Metallized capacitors are made of the dielectric and electrode, which is metallic deposit on the dielectric processed by vacuum evaporating technique. The metallized capacitors have characteristic of high capacitance, high insulation and fine self-healing property. The properties of metallized capacitors such as self-healing and high volume capacitance remain unchanged. It can generate eddy currents in the metallizations, with a possible negative impact on the reliability and lifetime of components.
