Accelerometer Extension Cables are designed to work with all accelerometers using a MIL Spec 5015 2-Pin connector. The cable uses a molded Zytel (Dupont) MIL spec. The connector is CE certified and designed to be water tight as per NEMA 6P, 13, IEC IP67. The cable and connector are rated to 185 degrees F. They feature watertight 2-Pin MIL Spec connector and twisted 22 AWG cable.
Accelerometer Motor Fin Mounts provides a mounting location for either magnetically mounted or permanently mounted accelerometers on motors where the bearing housing is not accessible. The Fin Mounts are machined from 416 SS and are adhesive mounted between the cooling fins of the motor. The Fin Mounts are provided in four sizes to accommodate a variety of motors and to keep the amount of required adhesive to a minimum. These features mixing nozzles and obtain meaningful vibration data.
Accelerometer Mounting Pads are used for glue (epoxy) mounting accelerometers to a prepared surface. The mounting pads are stainless steel and are 1″ (2.54 cm) in diameter & either 1/4″ (0.64 cm) or 3/8″ (0.95 cm) thick. The pads are lapped on one side to provide an ideal surface for accelerometer mounting. The pads are also provided with a 1/4″ x 28 UNF tapped hole for accelerometer mounting. The 1/4″ thick version is recommended for low clearance installations or when using the combination epoxy & stud mounting method. The 3/8″ thick version is recommended for installing ring mode accelerometers.
Accelerometer is a device for measuring acceleration. It measures its own motion in contrast to a device based on remote sensing. These are used along with gyroscopes in inertial guidance systems as well as in many other scientific & engineering systems.
In engineering and its various sub disciplines, acceptance testing is performed by the customer on a system prior to the customer accepting delivery or accepting transfer of ownership of that system. For systems, it is performed exclusively through black-box testing. Acceptance testing is also performed on lots (mechanical parts) or batches (chemicals) of manufactured or produced items.
