Mixer Blender is a single shaft mixer used to blend ingredients requiring moderate shear. This is accomplished using a high vane blade rotating at 3000 to 3500 feet per minute peripheral speed. The blade imparts some shear forces to the ingredients, but also blends due to the pumping action of the high vane design. It is most often used for let down or thin down of pre-dispersed products into liquids.

Mixer seals are suitable for pharmaceutical, biotech, or food processing mixers, agitators, and reactors. These mixer seals can be used in extremely corrosive or sensitive processes, which may include steam or caustic cleaning between batches. It includes options for exotic metallurgy, non-metallic wetted components, a debris catching flange, integral bearings, along with a large variety of flush arrangements.
