Dry pipe valve is a dry pipe sprinkler system water-supply control valve that makes possible the installation of sprinkler systems in buildings subject to freezing temperatures. It is designed so that air pressure in the piping system can hold back water pressure at the valve until such time as a sprinkler is activated. Upon such activation the air pressure in the system can decay sufficiently to cause automatic operation of the valve and admission of water into the system. The valve has a 5:1 pressure differential ratio.

Dry polishing is used for the initial grinding steps, when more concrete is being removed. It improves die strength for greater viability while reducing die warpage for greater usability in stacks and thin packages. It also removes the damage layer that inevitably remains after fine grinding. It provides finish on the wafer backside, increased die strength and reduced die warpage.

Dry precipitators are normally fabricated from thick steel plate, insulated and lagged with aluminum. They operate at very high temperatures and maintain a fly ash in its natural dry condition simplifying material handling. A dry precipitator is installed after the burner blend chamber to remove the fly ash. This arrangement produces cleaner veneer and eliminates dryer vent emissions. They are used for wood fired boiler emissions in wood industry.

Dry prime trash pumps combine heavy-duty wet priming centrifugal open trash/sewage pump and an auxiliary vacuum pump to deliver the fastest priming in the industry. This suction vacuum-assisted pump is used for sewer bypasses, excavation dewatering, wellpoint systems and sock underdrains. Dry-running agitator-seal is designed for gas-blanket sealing on all mixers and agitators with top drives. The seal can be used with a rinse-and-wash cup to catch fines. An integrated clamping mechanism creates a non-positive connection between the seal and shaft, ensuring good torque input. This seal can be easily installed & repaired in the field to minimized replacement costs & downtime. It can be used in high vacuum applications. Seals with bearing can be provided for vessels having greater misalignments with special arrangement.

Dry shake color hardeners providie dense and abrasion resistant surface. These are transmitting onto the freshly placed concrete and then troweled into the surface. The concrete is not colored all the way through. Since the color is concentrated on the surface- a more intense color can be produced. It is used in stamping applications. At the end of curing, as in integrally colored concrete, sealers can be applied to the surface to accentuate the color of the concrete.
