Mono type strainer is placed in-line with process piping to remove large solid contaminants from the flow. It is used where the line can be shut down for short periods to clean or change baskets. It becomes an integral part of the pipeline and all flow passes through it.
Mono/Multicrystaline cells are made up of an array of individual cells. They are sliced from a single or cast silicon block and have an appearance of shattered glass. Monocrystalline cells are manufactured from wafers of silicon and are generally the most efficient cells for converting solar energy into electricity. Multicrystalline cells consist of small grains of monocrystalline silicon. The main processes involved are sawing the ingots, doping, polishing and interconnecting the cells as well as assembly into PV modules and arrays. Polycrystalline cells have a lively shimmering structure and are quadratic, while monocrystalline cells have a homogeneous appearance are usually pseudo-quadratic, namely with rounded edges.
