Motor Magnets are made from different materials such as neodymium, samarium, cobalt and alnico. Motor magnets are designed with magnets cemented on or embedded. Motor magnets are made from rare-earth compounds and the structure from aluminum metal.
Permanent Magnet Motors consists of a coil of wire called armature. It is arranged in the magnetic field of a permanent magnet in such a way that it rotates when a current is passed through it. The voltage is induced when the coil of wire moves in the magnetic field, which causes the armature to rotate. These are used in a broad power range from mWs to hundreds kWs. There are also some attempts to apply permanent motors to large motors rated at minimum 1MW. These are used in industrial drives, which include pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, centrifuges, mills and hoists.
