Vapor Recovery Equipment (10 suppliers)
Vapor recovery equipment is designed to prevent release of product vapors into the air at the site of the tank. Product vapors releases during tank filling operations are vented back into the tanker. Vapor recovery equipment reduces hydrocarbon emissions during the transfer of gasoline from a tanker truck to storage tank. The recovery equipment then routes the vapors in tank to the tanker through a hose to prevent venting of pollutants into the air we breathe.

Vapor recovery system is used for recovering the vapors of gasoline or other fuels, so that they do not escape into the atmosphere. It is designed to reduce the release of gasoline vapors into the air while vehicles refuel by collecting vapors at the gasoline pump nozzle and returning the vapors to an underground tank. It not only reduces air pollution, but also saves money by conserving gasoline that would be lost into the air and protect public health by reducing inhalation of toxic gasoline vapors.

Vapor Recovery Units (11 suppliers)
Vapor recovery unit is a fixed-roof and, to a lesser extent, floating-roof stock tanks experience hydrocarbon vapor loss even if the oil is stabilized to atmospheric pressure. This loss is due to the inspiration and expiration of air with daily temperature change as well as the effect of solar heating. The gases lost are heavy. Vapors from any of the following sources are possible candidates for vapor recovery such as oil storage tanks, free-water knockouts, boots, heater-treaters, water storage tanks and glycol regenerators. Vapor recovery units are fairly simple compressor systems. Vapors are withdrawn from tankage through suction lines by electric motor or gas engine driven compressors are boosted to sufficient pressure to enter the gas-gathering line.

Vapor Retarders (2 suppliers)
Vapor Retarders are intended to prevent the transmission of water vapor. These are required by code to be placed on the warm-in-winter side of the wall. These include polyethylene sheets, asphalt-backed kraft paper commonly used as insulation facing, foil laminate faced insulation and interior paints. These locate within the wall section continually prevent vapor transmission. These can minimize the deleterious effects of moisture in wall cavities. These are also used as ground covers for basements or crawlspaces.

Vapor Steam Cleaners (7 suppliers)
Vapor steam cleaners are a technology that enables the use of water without an additive package as the sole primary cleaning technique. It offers advantages over traditional hand-wipe cleaning. The combination of hot steam and pressurized blast enables cleaning in tight spaces, complex geometries, blind holes and under closely spaced components. In heavy soiled surfaces, cleaning can be enhanced by application of surfactant solution directly to the part to be cleaned. Steam vapor technology is very low in energy consumption because only a small mass of water is being heated. The equipment is used in a waste management cabinet to minimize worker exposure to debris from the part being cleaned, as well as entrapment of the residue being removed.
