It may be seamless or welded and is manufactured to specific dimensions, in particular for the outside diameter and the thickness of the walls. It includes flow lines for fluids and gases in pneumatic, hydraulic, or process applications, or specialized uses such as medical or food processing. It is one of the examples of medical tubing.
