Diaphragm Transfer Pump is a polypropylene and nylon transfer pump for both low and high viscosity fluids. It has portable caddy configuration. It has container top mount vertical or horizontal. Its temperatures range is 55°C (130°F). It has 12-volt battery operated electric motor. The materials are constructed with glass-filled nylon, glass-filled polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide, stainless steel and viton elastomer.

Diaphragm Type Metering Pumps are used in many industrial plants for injecting a controlled flow of highly reactive liquids such as acids, caustics and water treatment chemicals. Diaphragm type metering pumps are suitable for conditions involving hazardous toxic, radioactive, expensive or poisonous liquid where any product leakage is not acceptable.

Diaphragm vacuum pumps are used for small to medium size applications as an alternative to oil sealed rotary vane pumps. It can provide vacuum levels throughout the entire rough vacuum range (atmosphere to below 1 mbar/torr) providing vacuum levels suitable for many tasks. It can perform degassing of liquids, and even be used as backing pumps for wide range turbomolecular pumps. These pumps are available in two different designs: standard aluminum construction and PTFE construction.

Diaphragm valve actuator is most commonly used for globe valve applications, although it can be used with ball and butterfly valves. Their operations and construction features are relatively simple to understand, but they do not always function in the same manner. Generally, they are used to control the flow of process water. The actuator consists of a diaphragm that is placed between a split housing. The diaphragm is made from a reinforced rubber compound, and usually is supported by, or attached to, a plate. The plate not only reinforces the diaphragm, but also provides an area on which the return springs can rest. The location of the springs is determined by the valve operation. If the valve is a normally open style, the springs are placed beneath the diaphragm. If the valve is of the normally closed type, the springs are placed on top of the diaphragm. However, there are exceptions to this general design, and spring placement depends upon the construction features of the valve.

Diaphragm Valves use a rubber, plastic or elastomer diaphragm to seal the stem. Diaphragm valves are generally more suitable for process liquids because of the low-pressure drop and the virtual impossibility of leakage. Diaphragm valves are controlled by a hand wheel. These valves are slower to operate and damaged by over tightening. Diaphragm valves are packless with solid Teflon diaphragm. Diaphragm valves are glandless valves that use a flexible elastometric diaphragm as the closing member and affect an external seal.

Diaphragmless ejectors are used in applications where the standard ejectors have failed due to excessive on/off cycling frequency and/or high water temperatures. The minimum backpressure required is 20 psig to ensure proper operation.

Dichroic / Bandpass Filters are used to achieve a wavelength region with high transmission, with adjacent regions of attenuation. It provides narrow beam splitters for transmitting multiple laser lines at a 45° angle of incidence. It is used to transmit the excitation laser light through a beam splitter and separate the returning common-path signal and also to transmit a specific waveband while rejecting all energy outside the pass band of the filter. It is multi-layer thin-film coatings deposited on a glass substrate using high vacuum deposition techniques. It is used for commercial, aerospace and solar applications. It includes color correction and light balancing, color TV or camcorder cameras, automated color sorting systems, color enlargers and color projectors.
