Bentonite Powder (12 suppliers)
Bentonite powder is a soft, volcanic clay that has a particular property of expanding many times its original volume upon contacting water. It is a rich source of trace minerals and has good absorptive properties, making it a popular bulk-forming agent. It is commonly used in intestinal cleansing programs. It is used as a natural intestinal detoxifying agent. Bentonite powder works in the body much like a sponge by attracting and absorbing toxins before being eliminated by the body.

Bentonite Slurry Walls (1 supplier)
Bentonite slurry walls are constructed by mixing the excavated soils with the bentonite slurry and gradually backfilling the trench. Backfilling begins by lowering the fill into the bottom of one end of the trench using a clamshell. When the mound of backfill reaches the surface, the remainder of the trench is filed by pushing fill down the slope of the mound into the trench using a bulldozer. Operators gradually move down the trench until the entire trench is backfilled. The ideal soil for bentonite wall is silty sand. Chunks of clay, rocks bigger than 6 inches and roots, or other organic material must be removed from the soil before mixing with the bentonite slurry. Installation of bentonite slurry wall requires level ground and a large work area to mix the soil with the bentonite slurry. These walls are susceptible to attack by incompatible chemicals.

Benzalkonium Chloride (3 suppliers)
Benzalkonium chloride is a mixture of alkylbenzyl dimethylammonium chlorides of various alkyl chain lengths. It is commonly used as an antiseptic and spermicide. This product is a nitrogenous cationic surface-acting agent belonging to the quaternary ammonium group. The greatest bactericidal activity is associated with the C12-C14 alkyl derivatives. Benzalkonium chloride solutions are rapidly acting anti-infective agents with a moderately long duration of action. They are active against bacteria and some viruses, fungi, and protozoa. Bacterial spores are considered to be resistant. Solutions are bacteriostatic or bactericidal according to their concentration. Gram-positive bacteria are generally more susceptible than gram-negative. Activity is not greatly affected by pH, but increases substantially at higher temperatures and prolonged exposure times.

Benzene Removal Systems (1 supplier)
Benzene removal systems are designed to remove and recover benzene from HCl, hydrogen and natural gas. Benzene is a clear, volatile liquid made up of six carbon atoms and six hydrogen atoms arranged in a ring shape. It employs an arrangement that allows electric heater size and therefore maximum instantaneous heat demand to be cut in half. This arrangement not only saves the customer energy costs but allows a more continuous return of recovered benzene.

Benzophenone (1 supplier)
Benzophenone is the organic compound with the formula (C6H5)2CO. It generally abbreviated Ph2CO. Substituted benzophenones such as oxybenzone and dioxybenzone are used in sunscreen. Benzophenone also called dphenylmethanone can be prepared by the reaction of benzene with carbon tetrachloride followed by hydrolysis of the resulting diphenyldichloromethane. It is a common photosensitizer in photochemistry. It crosses from the S1 state into the triplet state with nearly 100 % yield. The resulting diradical will abstract a hydrogen atom from a suitable hydrogen donor to form a ketyl radical.
