Wellhead desanders are utilizes in production wellhead. It consists of a single cyclone insert housed inside a vessel operating at the appropriate wellhead design pressure. Wellhead fluids enter the cyclone's tangential inlet, which forces the mixture to spin. Both gas and liquid migrate towards the center of the cyclone when exposed to the strong centrifugal forces. Solids are separated from the gas and liquid and fall into an accumulator vessel. These efficient units protect downstream equipment from erosion.
Wellpoint pumps are versatile unit for small well-point systems or sock drain applications. These pumps are high-pressure end suction centrifugal pumps driven by diesel or electric engines. It is mounted on steel skid chassis with fuel cell and lifting bale. It is ideally suited for wellpoint and sock dewatering applications. It can also be used for sump pumping applications. These pumps are automatic priming and re-priming through the incorporation of a rotary type vacuum pump with a high volume air valve assembly coupled with a high pressure end suction centrifugal pump.
