Pin mill is a type of intermediate crusher. The particles to be grinded are accelerated to a great speed and then crushed by means of an impact or fiction against the sides of the vessel. The air required for this acceleration is cooled to prevent the powder coating particles from sticking together. It consists of two horizontal steel plates with vertical projections arranged in concentric circles on opposing faces. The projections of the two face intermesh. The passage between the pins provides size reduction by impact and attrition. The material is suitable for grinding soft, non-abrasive powders, and low milling temperatures permit the processing of heat sensitive materials. The fineness of the grind may be varied by using disks with different pin dispositions.

Pin Point Punches are used to mark locations on materials (as for sewing) and to create either pinholes or dimples in such materials as leather, rubber, paper and abrasives. The heights of these punches include /4″, .918″, .923″, 1″, 1 1/8″, 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″, and 2″. It also has 3/32″, 1/8″, 5/32″, 3/16″, and 1/4″ of diameters.

Pin Rails are used in shelves or counters. These are available in both 5' & 7'(152.5cm & 213.5cm) lengths with matching corners. These are also used to insert belaying pins to tie-off rope rigging. The pin rail is made of 3-1/2″ pipe with holes for belaying pins on 12″ centers supported by 4″ channel legs. Double pin rails have two pipes so that non-moving pieces may be tied off to one pipe and the other is used for the active sets. Sand bags are used to counterbalance the load.

Pin Router Bits are used for cutting, trimming and routing around cowlings, ribs, skins, holes and plexi glass cutting & its is also used for door sills and elongating door latch holes. These cutters allow to cut without drilling and makes for easier guiding along a line or pattern, and free cutting. These types of routers have been used in dynamic saws.
